COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

I missed Track Tuesday last week because it was opening day for the first day of school. I had to be on campus by 8a.m. I hate it when the day job gets in the way of running. It felt like forever since I had been to track. It was so good to so everyone and team red. Now since Road to Wellness last Saturday and that massage, my first knew has felt funny. It was a bet swollen but I could still function on it. Meaning I ran on it. I even went to strength training on Monday. I just had to be slow , strong, and steady.

Today for Marathon training was four miles. Easy. We usually run 3 miles total. Then we have close to a one mile 8 minute warm up. Perfect. Team Red told me they missed me and I missed them. Everything was fine.

For the drill, we did two 10 minute run with two minute break in between. I was holding my own and I was fine. Then when it came time for the 4 4 by 4, I started to limp. MB noticed it. I would have kept going. She reminded me to not be stupid because I had a marathon to train for.

I agreed.

I was trying to be pro active and put K-tape around my knee when I got on campus. After I took it off, it got worse. WTH? So no running, since I can’t walk right. And I made an appointment with the acupuncturist.
