Last Track Tuesday of 2024
COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”
This is it! Last outdoor track Tuesday of the year. This was a light, fun workout. 8 x200s with 90second rest. I don’t think it would be 3 miles. I’m super happy that I am able to run and pace with the Red team. My knee is not 100% but at least I can run now with them. Though, I was disappointed that we didn’t have doughnuts for our last time together. And not all the pacers could come today because of their day jobs.
Even with that, the weather was great and it was so fun to see and be apart of the community that I so enjoy. Red team was on fire today. But I did get salty because, one by one they left and went to the blue team. I felt like they were breaking up with me, and on the last day, of all days. :). LOL. That that is what we want anyway. I was giving them all kinds of shitz.
Plus, Ana, one of the runners told me about seeing a Chiropractor that could help with my knee. I’m going to have to try it. Unfortunately they do not take my insure and I’ll have to pay out of pocket. I want to be able to walk and run without the pain annoyance. We’ll see how it goes.
This was fun. I even did the plank challenge with the ladies. Now I have to get ready for the Boston 10k for women on Saturday. Many of the ladies at track will be doing the 10k on Saturday, so I’ll get to see them again. I won’t have to go into full withdrawal mode yet. :) .
