COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”

Just like that it’s July 1st. The end of last month, June 30th was a rough one with all the SCOUTS decisions that were made. It was heartbreaking and infuriating. Issues around discrimination, affirmative action, and what is define as freedom of speech to discrimination against someone or a group of people is ok. So many things. I’m proud of myself for not eating or drinking my feelings. This morning I ran four miles on the beach to let out my feelings. Since this is fourth of july weekend the beaches and streets are a bit quiet. I had Revere Beach to myself to think and run. The problems with white supremacy weren’t solve while running but I did feel a bit better. I found joy in the beach run. Since there was low tide, I saw all the horseshoe craps, clams, shells, and sea life. It was in the high 60s when I ran at 6:30a.m. Running, breathing, running, and breathing. That’s all I can do this morning and that’s ok.
