Miles before 6a.m. and 69 degrees
COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”
The struggle is always real. Do I sleep in? Do I get up? Will it rain? It took a bit of time but I did get up to get ready to run. Last time I ran this week was on Tuesday. The mugginess and rain are no joke. I planned for a 5k around the neighborhood. Something simple and steady. I was not going to overexert myself in this weather. It was already 69 degrees and the temperature would just keep on rising.
I ran around the East Boston Greenway, Pier’s Park, and through Brenman street park. I ran 3.48 miles, keeping around a 10:31/10:41 pace. This was a good steady run. I was sweating bullets and I got hot fast. I did enjoy the quiet and the slight coolness of the morning.
As usual I feel good after the run.
