Monday's Strength
COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”
Saturday was an 11 miler. Sunday was a rest day. Today Monday, is strength and conditioning. It was a good class this morning. I have to be careful about my knees. I need them to be strong. Really, I need my hips and ass to be strong. They are carry me up those Big Sur hills. I would love to go to class twice a week but I can’t because I need to have increase mileage on the pavement. We worked on back, arms, core and legs. I think I can add more weight to the exercises but I wanted to see what I can do before increasing the weights. Also, today starts week 16 of training. I’m counting backwards so I know what week to follow.
Plus this is my last week before class starts, that will we a new challenge. This week I want to get into a good routine with running, classes at the Y, and doing work.
