Slushy outside but warm inside for Track Tuesday
COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”
We finally got a lot of snow Monday evening. This morning it was slick and slushy. I wanted to make sure to get to Track workout at the Reggie a bit earlier than normal in case I couldn’t find parking. To my surprise it wasn’t too bad this morning.
Today I was different. I brought my clothes with me to shower and change at the Reggie since I have to drive up to Salem to teach. Last Tuesday I left early, went home to shower and change and then drove to campus. Last Tuesday was the first week of classes and it was after the MLK holiday weekend. Today would be a tester. I’ve never shower and changed at the Reggie before….big doings.
Today we were running for 10mins straight with a 2 minute break, then another 10mins. 2 minute break. Then an 800 with a break and a 400 with a break. We did a lot of running today.
I’m always happy to see team red, BMR, Trailblazerher, and pioneer representation. I was able to do two 10minute runs and one 800 before I had to go and shower. By this time it was 7:35a.m. One hour workout and I probably ran 3 miles. It was good.
I think I have a plan moving forward.
