Friday Beach Sun chasing Run
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
It’s Finally Friday. Yay! End of week 5 of the semester. The last couple of days it has rained and I haven’t been motivated to do my yoga stretches. The struggle is always real and doesn’t stop. This morning, the weather is back in the low 60s. No turning on the heat needed. To work these legs of mine I decided to go on a beach run. Revere Beach of course was my beach of choice. Today I missed it up. Instead of running down the beach towards Lynn, I ran the opposite direction towards Winthrop. At 6a.m. it’s still dark out. I had the headlight, keys in my hand( since I lost them last time), and phone. I left my bird alarm at home. Otherwise I ready to run the beach.
I love running and seeing how the sky goes from dark to light. From shades of reds, oranges, and blue to pink, yellow, and blue. I was literally chasing the sun. Along the way I saw many Halloween decorations up. Very fall festive while I was sweating. I ran run Revere Beach to Winthrop Beach. Along WInthrop Beach, I saw walkers and runners. A couple of the runners( men) had on headlight and other reflective gear. They were running early in the dark just like me.
My progression run was an ode to the progression of the morning.
Feeling good and strong for 4 miles on a Friday.
