COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
Just like that , it’s Saturday and October 1st. Bye, September it’s been real. Today I ran the Boston 10k for women’s course. Next Saturday will be race day and I wanted to test my body on the route since it has been a while since I’ve run downtown, across memorial bridge, Cambridge side of the Charles and then back again.
This morning feels like a perfect fall morning. It’s 55 degrees out and all the runners are out. I was disappointed that the ducklings were not dressed up for fall. Overall it was a good run. I need to work on my stigma. Around 4 miles I was tired a bit. I made sure to keep going. The rowers were in the Charles and the stalkers were hanging out to themselves.
6.10 miles at 10:28mile/pace 1h 3mins. - Still working on the build and the baseline.
I think with some more mileage this week, I’ll be ready for Saturday.
