Trackwork and art mural run
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
Yesterday I was tired. I think I might have slept on and off for ten hours. The combo from hiking, radiation, and running might be the perfect storm. It made sense that this morning it was a struggle to get up. I slept until 6:15a.m. I know my body needs rest. I debated to stay in bed until I have to get ready for radiation or run. This time I made the quick decision to do a 1 mile track run. My doctors told me that exercise, running was good for me, especially going through the radiation process. Besides the tiredness, I feel good and haven’t had any really bad side effects. I keep running, hydrating, and moisturizing. That’s why I told myself to get up and do at least a mile.
I left at 6:35a.m. My Tuesday Track workout was abbreviated from four miles to 2.50 miles. I did run on the track but I also ran on the Brenman bike/walk path. On my run to the track and from the track, I saw some of the Sea Wall- Mural Art. I think my run today was more of a mural art run than a track run.
I ran and walk some of the mural art run for 2.50 miles total this morning.
Mile 1: 11:16
Mile 2: 10:01
Mile 2.5: 12:32( Walking)
Also today is a radiation milestone, #15. Three more to go before I’m done. On the music playlist today is world/international music
