Beach Friday post Doctor's appointment
COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”
So much to do today. First I need a calming walk on the beach to get ready for the day.
Yesterday I met with the radiation oncologist doctor. She was great. We discussed my breast cancer and the process that has lead me to see her. I learned that I have to have 18 rounds of radiation, which will be about three and half weeks. Before we do that, there has to be radiation prep. I’ll see here in a couple of weeks and she’ll do a “ step-up” to know specifically where they will do the radiation. I’ll be permanently tattoo around that area. She informed me the marks will look like a birth mark or a mole.
Personally, I would like a free tattoo design around them but that’s just me. We discussed side affects, reactions of the skin, lotions, bra, eating, and more.
I’m ready to get this phrase going. It’s been almost seven months since I found out that I had breast cancer. I thought everything will be taken care of in a month. I was very native. I appreciate the care, concern, and standards of practice they have followed on me. My July will be a July 2021 of radiation. The the is first time and hopefully last time I will say that.
I processed all of this while walking on Revere Beach this morning. I want to get my body as healthy and strong as I can before radiation starts. The doctor agreed that excising and moving are great ways to help minimize the side affects.
The tide was high this morning. I walked along the beach to see the carnage that my stalkers have left behind and the trash from trashy people. I walked a good strong 4 miles this morning to start off the day
