55 degrees at 5:55a.m

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

It’s Friday and it’s already 55 degrees out at 5:55a.m. This is the winter morning weather that I like. Spring is knocking on winter’s door to come in. Unfortunately, in New England spring will knock on the door , leave, and come back weeks later. Right now she’s knocking. Beach walk was mandatory this morning. This was the first morning post re excursion surgery on my right breast. I had the procedure on Wednesday, rested on Thursday and today I’m walking on the beach.

No gloves, hat, or multiple layers needed for this morning. I walked on the hard packed sand of the beach for 4.12 miles. I saw other people socially distance walking. I had my mask around my neck in case people got to close but that never happened.

My goal was a 5k walk and I went beyond my goal for today. I’m ready for all that Friday will bring.
