Wet Monday a.m. run
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
It’s going to rain everyday this week. I took the weekend off to rest up. I need to run a little bit this week. The irony, is that I hate to run in the rain. I don’t run in the rain. This morning, as it’s raining, it wasn’t too heavy. I thought I could run a mile at least before it gets heavy. The rain is going to be on and off all week.
I put on my running tights, jacket, hat, headlight, and headed out in the 44 degree wet and darkness of the morning. I ran on Mystic River Reservation because I left the Iowan’s house this morning and it was close.
It was foggy out and I was the only person out. The stalkers were loving this weather, of course. I had a good, strong and steady run. My pelvic floor wasn’t too bad. As I ran, the rain got harder. Then it stopped and would start back up again.
I was proud of myself for running this morning. Win for me.
