10k a.m. Humpday Run
COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”
7:05 a.m. is when light comes in. This morning at 5:45a.m. I was out of the town with my headlight around my head. Before I left the house, I remembered to stretch. I was mindful with stretches around my pelvic floor area. Of course when I left it was dark and quiet. I did have on a jacket. When I felt the temperature outside I put my jacket in my mailbox. Which ended up being a very good move.
It was 51 degrees out, it was a perfect temperature. I took my time and felt my pace as I ran. I through Marvick station and around mile two ran a bit of an incline before I crossed the bridge to Chelsea.
People are busy going to work. The T was busy when I passed it. Busses were full as they drove down the street. I was in a groove. I had a good pace and good tunes until my running up stopped on me. Just before I hit my first 5k. So annoying. I had to start all over again. I didn’t forget that I ran a 5k.
I crossed another bridge and headed back to East Boston. I couldn’t believe it was still dark out. With the coolness of the air, I didn’t have a heavy sweat.
I made sure that my running path was lit. Even with my headlight, I ran in the light. The lights from the cars, the bridges, streets, and Boston Skyline illuminated my path.
It was a good fall 10k a.m. run. I want to hold on to mornings like this. Tomorrow the weather can be completely different and not as nice as this morning.
