More than a Friday 5k
COVID -19 “The Rona Era”
Franklin Park Friday! Today is the first day in a while that it has been warm in the morning. This is the first time that I am wearing shorts. It is 57 degrees at 6 a.m. Perfect running temperature. There is sun and lots of people out in the park, which I am not a fan of. I saw many people golfing on the Franklin, Park golf course and cars parked along the outside of the park. Of course all the walkers, bikers, and runners at 6a.m. ugh.
I had to focus on this being a new day, new sun, and new heads of thought. I ran through the old ruins part of the part were the old part of the zoo use to be. I was able to avoid people and take in nature.
I even ran outside of the park in Roxbury and part of Jamaica Plain neighborhoods. If this continues, people running early I will run through the park and explore the different neighborhoods around the part.
I did run past people waiting for the bus or walking to their car to go to work( I’m assuming). It was all good for 3.28 mile run
