The fluffy clouds
COVID-19. The RONA Era.
Last night I had a late dinner and a bottle and half of wine. Do I want to run this morning? Friday was a shit show of work crazy, hence the late dinner and bottles. This is the only day of sun because the weekend is going to rain. My motto: Just move and groove. This could be a light run, as long as I move.
Today I went to a new spot. The Charles River along Solider Field, which is near Harvard Stadium. The clouds in the sky looked so fluffy and amazing. It was just a beautiful place to be. I saw a couple of rowers , rowing. I didn’t even know if that was allowed.
I started to run. I wasn’t fully familiar were this path was going to go. I trotted along anyway. Part of it was along memorial drive. There were other walkers, bikers, and runners out. I did see any African-American couple that acknowledged me and I did the same.
People were very aware of physical distancing those with and without mask. I was enjoying how today felt like spring with the flowers popping up everywhere and the geese doing whatever it is they do.
I didn’t really stretch and I was starting to feel my knee. 2.75 miles later I stopped and walked it off. My knee is telling me to do my strengthening exercises and not get common or lazy.
