Saturday Beach Run
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
Hello warmth! As we still wait for the winner of this election, a beach run is so needed. I need the sound of the ocean water to smooth me. This morning I ran along Revere Beach, one of my spots. I think everyone else had the same idea to run and walk along the beach on an early Saturday morning. I had a late start running, 8 a.m. I didn’t want to be in the dark and wear my headlight.
Running along the water, my stalkers were all hanging out, “ chillin.”. I think they were annoyed with this drawn out election process. I got caught up with shells, craps, birds, and sand. For the 4.12 miles of running, I forgot about the rest of everything.
The added bonus of people being spread out was great. I ran 2.06 miles on the pavement and 2.06 miles on the hard sand.
