31 snowy warm degrees for Monday a.m. run
Today is President’s Day and the start of school vacation week. The morning is quite because many people do not have to go to school or work. Today there is an added bonus of snow. At least in my part of Boston, the snow is not bad. It’s soft, not sticking, and it’s warm out.
I made sure to be mindful of any black ice and wet spots. The fear I have is slipping and breaking something. I’m too close to do that. Also I wanted to get miles in because Saturday will be my second 20 mile run. I’m going to try this week to be mindful of the food I put into my body. I need more of it to get my gas going.
Since it was quiet out, I was running in my stride. Pandora was playing all the right songs, the air was still( no wind). I could have kept going beyond 4.25 miles but I don’t want to over train and burn out. This was a strong but cautious run.
