5 miler Tuesday
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
I had a good nights sleep last night. I was up and ready to go at 5 a.m. for a 5 miler. To my surprise it was dark out. Fall is knocking on summer’s door. 5a.m. was super sunny and bright. Tis the season because that is not happening. I waited until 5:30a.m to start my run. It’s too early to start running with a running lamp.
At least it was cool out. Since stayed with the Iowan, I decided to run on the Tri-Community Greenway. a 2.5 mile out and back worked for me. The greenway was very quiet this morning. All the greenery growth had spread to the running/walk path.
I didn’t hear any birds or run into any traffic/ cars this morning. Again, very quiet. This was a good straight run. Training is helping. I ran 5.05 miles in 52:31 at a 10:24pace. This was my first time running long miles after the Canadian adventure. This was a good morning.
Later on tonight, is the mob mile under the lights. We’ll see how that goes.
