Soupy Track Tuesday

Soupy Track Tuesday

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

It’s soupy and soupy this morning. I should not be surprised because it’s summer. But still. I felt good because team Red told me I did a good job at pacing today. That made me happy. I still feel heavy because of this extra weight. Last check I was 159.2, down from 161. It might be a hormone- pre menopausal thing. I need to investigate even more.

I think because it’s the end of July and folks are on vacation, Track Tuesday does not seem as packed as it usually does. I felt good running. Thou my left knee is bothering me. I know with those tendons, you have to rest it and let it heal. I’m being mindful of that.

I will say it was good to run and hit the pavement. I’ll be doing more of that later this week. This is the first full week of marathon training for the Everywomen’s Marathon.

What did we do:

200- 1 mile pace with 2min break

800-5k pace- 1 min break- 600, 200,400, and 200. The 200s were 2 mins break. Everything else was 1 min break. Those 2 min breaks were so needed.

We did the thang. Now off to the car dealership
