A wet, muggy, and stalker morning
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
Besides Tuesday, I need to run. Of course I with the Iowan and it’s raining this morning. As we know, I don’t run in rain. But I need to run. Oh the dilemma . I got myself up and out. Horn Pond was the spot for running in the rain this morning. And the stalkers were out and about. In full force. Besides the black truck. There was no one there. The rain was hard but it wasn’t steady.
I decided to see how far I could run before I turned around. For a moment, it was just me and the stalkers. As I passed by them…..they didn’t pay me any attention…they were busy eating. I started my run with this heavy bloated belly of mine. Ugh.
The rain slowly stopped. I kept running and the mugginess followed. I did see some people walking. No runners. I made my way around the pond. I even went up the big hill to complete a 5k day. Next week will officially start marathon training in this weather mess. Today this body of mine moved around the pond.
