Miles and Frost around the Pound
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
Brrrrrrr. It’s a nippy Monday a.m. My morning debate was where to run? Do I run along the Mystic River or Revere Beach or Horn Pond? Sunday’s are spent with the Iowan, so Monday a.m. running gives me options from his place or going home and running in my hood. Also, I have to maximize my time depending on the things I need to do for Monday. Today, Selma, my cleaning lady is coming over. I don’t like to be in the house when she cleans. So I couldn’t really go home. I have a couple of meetings this morning. Anyway, I decided to run in Horn Pond. Today was a mixed run/walk. It felt and smelled like fall this morning. I heard my stalkers and could see the dew or mist coming from the pond.
One loop around the pound is two miles. I did two. These four miles around the pond made for good brisk running and walking.
Having a moment to breathe and get my day going is always morning joy, despite the struggle to get out of bed. :)
