Long Run Saturday
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
This is the start of President’s Day and School vacation weekend. I have a Galentine’s day brunch with my ladies in Watertown. I doesn’t make sense to run on the Boston Marathon route, then drive home, then drive back to Watertown, which is next to Newton. All that to say, I decided to run close to home.
I ran along the Mystic River in Somerville and Medford. Then I ran in Charlestown and around Bunker Hill Monument. It was cold and I started off slow. My period is coming and I felt a bit heavier. It was quiet running along the Mystic.
I just took my time and kept my body moving as best she could. Unfortunately, I ran 9 miles and not my 10 mile Saturday. I slept later and did not start running until later. I needed to go home and change because the extra 1 mile have made me late.
It was a good run.
1:44:39; 9:04; 11:35 mile pace.
