Track Tuesday and it was hard
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
Fall is coming. Actually fall will be on Saturday. I was on the track, it was dark and no one was around. This morning is the perfect weather for a hard workout. It was 5:55a.m. Slowly as light was coming, so too were the pacers and other runners.
I can’t even tell you the workout. Basically it was running for 35 minutes straight and we were doing “ gear shifting”. Holding steady at a 10k pace, 5k pace, Marathon pace. We had three sets of 6 minutes and 2 minutes slower pace in between. I might be getting that wrong. Thankfully, Jordan the other pacer was here for Team Red. I just kept the time and pace.
The “ gear shifting” was a bit hard but it was good as I train for long distance. The support, energy, and motivation were all there this morning.
Plus, everyone had on Runner shirts with their names. I finally got to know some of the names of the faces that I’ve been seeing for weeks. It was a good run day
