Last summer run of 2023
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
This morning it feels like Fall. Fall officially starts on Saturday. It’s Thursday. Instead of running around Horn Pond I switched up Thursday and ran on the Tri-Community Greenway. My running coach told me I had to run 5 miles today. The Greenway is pretty flat and it would be a nice out and back run. AT 5:50 a.m. it was still a bit dark out. I was prepared with my headlight. It was dark and it was a bit nippy out.
The section of the greenway I ran on has the graffiti tunnel. Every time I run through it, the graffiti is different. This morning, the artwork had mural’s of people who had passed away. There were tag markers and cartoon characters. I ran through Woburn and Stoneham on this part of the greenway.
On my way back I saw more walkers and bikers. I had one Turkey encounter. I was feeling good and strong on this run. I think track practice workout is kicking in.
This was an O.K. run considering I was out with my ladies last night for conversations and cocktails until 9pm. 5miles, 52:03min, 10:24 mile/pace
