Beach Tuesday
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
10k is on the dock this morning. I know a beach run will give me my miles. Off to Revere Beach I went to run.
It had been a while since I ran the beach. The beach was busy. Folks were already running and walking on the beach by 6a.m. Even the traffic had started with lines of cars and busses trying to make their way to 1A highway.
I ran literally and figuratively into kids waiting for the school bus to pick them up. The tide was high and I didn’t many of my stalker friends out. For some reason this was a hard run. I think my period is coming and I didn’t hydrate or fuel . I could feel it in my body. I kept going because I knew I could do a 10k. I started running the beach around 6:35a.m. and I finished around 7:45a.m. I did a lot of stopping..taking pictures, walking, and just trying to find my pace.
It happens like that sometimes when you run. I finished in 1:03:47.
