Spring to visit for Mondays a.m. Run
CO.VID-19, “ The Rona Era”
50 degrees at 5:30a.m. Oh is spring coming to visit. I think she is, such a tease. But I’ll take it. I was over dressed this morning when I ran because I wasn’t expecting her. Also to kick off Monday, I have new shoes that I need to break it. Perfect.
Monday was Mystic River Reservation Monday. The goal of the day is a 10k. If I’m going to run in the Boston Marathon, I need to increase my mileage. This is a great day for it.
There was no out this morning but the stalkers and rowers on the Mystic River. MY Strava app said I was running around a 9:50min/mile pace. I don’t know if that is right. I don’t know if new running shoes can make that big of a difference. I’ll take it for now.
Could I keep up the pace for another 20.6 miles? I’ll take a win when I can get it. I felt more empowered with my girl gang hat on while I was hitting the pavement.
Breathing and listening to music. Taking in all of the morning and time to myself.
