Monday 5k
COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”
Last night I had to take some aleve. My knee pain was killing. I know I over did it at crossfit on Friday. I need to take it easy on the knee. This morning, I felt better and had better range of movement in my knee. It’s Monday, I should do a mile. I have no problem walking/running. Before I left the house, I did 6 minutes of stretching. The stretching helped even more. My left knee was not 100% but it was so much better than Sunday.
Monday is usually Mystic River running. Just like around the Charles Esplanade, the sidewalk and path around the mystic were not clear. They were icy and snowy. At least the ground was solid.
I was cautious and careful. The one mile I planned on running, was a 5k. It was a mixture of running and walk. I felt good that I was able to do that.
