COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”
I’m happy there is no snow. It’s warm enough that there is no snow but it is raining. Yet another rainy run. Today I made my way to Assembly Row and the Mystic River. On the trail were salt/sand trucks. I guess we are suppose to get snow, so they are working in advance. I wanted to make sure to be careful and not slip while running if the pavement was too slick. According to my marathon training plan, I’m suppose to run 3 miles today. I did a loop around Assembly Row and East Somerville for my run. While running the rain stopped and the 37 degrees felt warm and muggy. I think I might have over “ layered” myself this morning because I was hot and sweating.
I still didn’t see my stalkers out when I started running around 6:15 a.m. but when I was finished, around 7:05a.m., I saw them. Until then, I ran alone along the mystic and around the orange line.
I felt good and strong. I picked up the pace a bit. Work in progress
