Post Nor' Easter Run
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
Yesterday the Nor’easter came. Depending on where you lived in Boston and around the greater Boston area, the Nor’easter hit very differently. In East Boston, we got 1, maybe 2 inches of snow, no biggie. Other communities had between 10 to 22 inches of snow. Running this morning was “easy.” I still had to watch out for ice and black ice on the road but the streets were calm and warm. It’s 32 degrees out. I started to make my way towards the track but the track was still covered in snow. I just ran around the stadium. My running route was along the main streets of Eastie. I was surprised at all the high volume of 6 a.m. morning car traffic I faced. The cars and trucks, yielded to me as I ran on the streets. I had my headlight, gloves, and pepper gel this morning. I over layered myself. I was hot and slow to running. But I kept on and ran 4.64 miles on Wednesday. Before the week is over, a 10k will be completed.
