Warm Winter Monday Morning
COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”
The day after Valentines. It’s 32 degrees a warm winter morning. I took a chance and ran on Revere Beach for a 10k a.m. Monday run. To my surprise the beach was “warm.” Most of the snow had melted and there was no one around. Today is also President’s day and the start of school vacation week. There was a still, calmness, and quiet in the air. I saw one other person, running this morning but that was it. The first four miles I ran along the beach on the street. The next two miles I ran on the beach itself. The sand was hard and my stalkers were everywhere. Running back I saw another woman running on the beach and she waved at me..social distance waving and running.
I felt over dressed this morning. I ended up holding my gloves in my hands when I ran. Normally, my hands get so cold, they were really warm this morning.
