Monday running grind
COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”
This is Thanksgiving week. Which also means this month is coming to an end. This year is coming to an end. I won’t go down that road. Today I’m getting myself back on track. Saturday I flew to Cincinnati for my beloved cousin’s funeral. It was a celebration of her life and it was sad. I was socializing, eating, and cocktailing for the rest of the evening. I might have over cocktailed. Good thing my dad was driving and I wasn’t flying the plane back to Cincinnati. All of Sunday I was in a recovering from cocktailing. My body feels heavy and I feel off. I own it all. This morning, I needed to get a good stretch and a run on.
I ran a 6km along the Mystic River, which is apart of my Monday a.m. routine now. It was raining slightly when I ran. It was 52 degrees out. I appreciate running in the quiet of the morning without anyone around. Just me and the stalker geese and swans.
Here’s to getting back to recalculate myself.
