Waterviews for Wednesday
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
Daylight happens at 6:55a.m. I was up at 4:45a.m. Running at 6 a.m. it will be darkish and I can get more sleep in. That’s what I did. 5:45a.m. I started to move about. By 6:10a.m. I was out of the door with my headlight.
I felt good to run a 10k this morning. I’ll be running a 10k this Saturday for Boston’s Women 10k race, so I can get a 10k in today. While running my Map my run app got frozen and my music was frozen too. So weird.
I opted to run a 5k instead because I knew that route. Randomly my tracked worked and let me know I ran a mile then it froze and ended the tracking. When I restarted the app and started running it didn’t start up until later. Long story short. I had some technical problems this morning and I ran a 5k.
While running, I ran along the East Boston Waterfront which was so beautiful, to see the water and the city as she starts to wake up. At that time in the morning, there weren’t many people out, as I ran along the water.
Soon, I saw the school children going to school or waiting for the bus and the dog walkers came out.
For a mile and a half I had my peaceful run despite all the technical issues. Miles were completed.
