Monday a.m. darkness
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
This is the first full week of classes. Last Monday was Labor day and the week before that school started on a Wednesday. Today will be the first full week of classes. I wasn’t going to run but then I thought about Monday and saw the four zoom meetings I had and all the emails I had to answer and send out.
Next week will be the official start of Fall but I can already see it in the morning. Some of the leaves are falling down and it’s dark out at 5 and 6 a.m. The spring and summer light of the morning is fully on it’s way out.
Just to get a shake out run in, I ran 2.57 miles this morning. Truth be told I kept it short because I couldn’t find my headlight this morning and I needed to get back home sooner than later to get ready to leave the house.
Currently, it still feels like a nice end of summer morning. It was 66 degrees out, cool, and great for running.
This week I need to start stepping up my running plan and try to get more miles in. The goal before the month is over, is to have a nine mile run.
Cheers to Monday!
