Last a.m run of August 2020
COVID-19 “The Rona Era”
It’s Monday and it’s the last day of August. I have so many mixed emotions about this this month. Ideally I should run my last 8.31 miles for the month, ideally.
I wanted to start off this week easy and build up. I promised my fellow sole sista K, who is running her first marathon( Boston Marathon) next Monday, that I would run with her for 10 miles.
I haven’t run 10 miles all year because of my Hoffa Fat Pad. The cool Fall like weather and running around Deer Island for 3.36 miles was a good starter.
The sunrises now around 6, 6.06 a.m I ran around the island as the sun was rising. There were people walking, walking with dogs, run/walking, and some walking with their fishing polls.
Monday was busy. I appreciated seeing voting stickers to remind people of the importance of voting. All in all it was a good run around the island
