Geese and Fog
COVID-19, ‘The Rona Era”
Saturday long run. I wanted to run 8.29 miles for 8/29 today. It ‘s muggy, rainy, foggy, and even cool all in one. The rain would come and go and I wasn’t sure if torrential rain would come down while I was running. Running along the Charles I knew it would be 8 miles.
The Cambridge side of the Charles was busy because students at MIT were moving in today. There were streets blocked off, construction workers everywhere. I started later today because it is Saturday. I need to sleep in for the weekend. Instead of 5 a.m. run, it was a 7 a.m. run.
Running along the Charles, I saw my stalker geese. I hadn’t seen them in a couple days. I thought they all went off to college.
I had mask issues while running. My mask wasn’t staying on my face, it was soaked with sweat and kept falling off. I was trying to adjust it while running and stay socially distance.
I’m glad I got 3.65 miles in for Saturday.
