Wet Monday
COVID-19, The RONA era
The Monday after Easter Sunday is a wet one and I have a splitting headache. It’s not from the three bottles of Prosecco that shared with my friend nor the the fabulous brunch we ordered for take out of eggs, pancakes, bacon, toast, corn beef hash. I think it might be from the mimosa and a bit of orange juice that I had.
It’s raining, I have a headache and it’s going to rain all week. What to do? I took two aleve and started moving around. The rain was only going to get worse later today. This was my widow of opportunity. I put on my hat, something to cover my face and I was out the door. It was a light and steady drizzle. The 57 degree weather made it bearable to run. The gloomy skyline doesn’t help with your on lock down in the RONA and it’s a Monday too.
I just saw one man running. Everyone else was waiting for the bus or working this morning. I did see a couple of teens playing on the playground at 6 something in the morning. I have questions about that.
4.10 miles to start off the new work week. New day, new morning, new adventures………………….
