Triple Snooze
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
Today was a struggle. I had snooze three times this morning. I was not fulling the mood to get out of bed or even felt motivated to get out of bed for a Track Tuesday run. Eventually around 5:55 a.m. I started to move, I started to get out of bed. My plan for running 5 miles this morning was not going to happen. I had to run something, I had to do something. The 31 degree weather would not be a deterrent to running. I had to layer up wisely. There was another issue to the morning run. I had to get monies out to pay the house cleaner that was coming today. First world problems. I normally like to give her cash. I thought about running to the ATM and back for my run. Then if I did that, I wouldn’t have time to run on the track.
Time. Time was not on my side this morning because of hitting the triple snooze. The new plan was to drive to the ATM and then drive to the stadium for a track run. I ran 1.26 miles on the track, which is 4 times around then I drove home to do 30 minutes of Chloe Ting shred challenge.
I’m glad I made progress in my struggle. I’ll just have to work on doing better.
