Tuesday's Me Time
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
Monday is rained most of the day. Yesterday it felt like fall. It was cold, rainy, gloomy, and dark. It was raining when I got up. As we know, I don’t do rain, I did Core Workout training with Chole Ting. That was a good sweat. Today I had to fight the struggle of staying in my warm bed to brave the cold for track tuesday. Leaving the house at 5:45 a.m. the 35 degree weather did not feel as bad as I thought it would.
Still, dark. I proceeded with my Tuesday ritual route to the track. There was hardly anyone out. I did see a male running who was masked up run pass me, other than him, no one. I had the whole track to myself again on Tuesday. It’s official, my Tuesday Track crew is no longer.
As I ran, I did see dogs with their people walking by, otherwise it was quiet. I was just happy to be out running and burn off the crazy of getting my car broken into and having my wallet and computer stolen. I was glad to run and get some of that negative, stress energy out.
This was my “ me” time. My “me “think and breathe time. My “me “quiet time. 4.12 miles of me. 41:59min/ 10:12 pace.
My goal is to work on a faster me time at some point. For now, I got “ me time” in.
