10k Saturday a.m. run
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
Since I did not get my 10k a.m. humpday in on Wednesday, I had to get it in today. Today it is a summer warm 68 degrees for an a.m. run. I didn’t get the memo to wear running shorts and running booty shorts for Saturday. This is a great morning to run. Even my stalkers are out and about on such a nice day. The walkers, bikers, and homeless were all along the Charles Esplande. I personally was over heated because I over-dressed. This is the craziness of fall feeling like fall, winter, and summer. I never know which season is going to show up.
Everyone I saw this morning was masked up and running. I knew I had to get this long run in because afterward, I would be celebrating my friends birthday with a lot of bloody marys. My stride and energy was good this morning. I always preform better when I rest. I just ran in my zone and kept on going.
During my 6.11 mile a.m run I saw three black men running. At one acknowledge me because I did have on my black girls run hat.
6.11 miles 1:02:50 10:17 min/mil.
