All the numbers
Today’s long run was 13.1 miles. I’ve missed 13.1 miles. From here on out, the miles are all beyond 13.1. It was good to go back to something that is familiar. Today was a struggle. I had on too much clothing so I was hot and my movement was restricted. Plus, I’m still breaking in the new shoes. I still need to work on all the other “ running things” that I need to help me run.
Today, all the runners were out in about. People were running in groups and couples. I feel now is the time when I’ll start seeing more and more folks out. Plus, the weather was warmer “ 40s”- whoo- whoo.
As I was running I kept thinking about numbers. Miles, distance, how many reps, etc… All kinds of numbers and formulas are need for a successful 26.2 mile run.
I want to be able to run 13.1 miles in under 2 hours. If not 2:05-2:10.
13.21 = 2:11:43; 9:58 min/mil. Still I have time to keep working and modifying
