Sunday 8 miles of reflection
Today marks 6 years that my mother passed away. I wanted to explore some new territory and make sure to run some miles. I celebrated all weekend with friends, cocktails, and dancing. Last night I was at Fenway for the New Kids on the Block concert, Friday was ICA first Friday's with dancingalong the water. To be honest, this was the first weekend that I can remember that I was able to let go and have fun. I actually played and enjoyed myself. I think that is a gift my mom gave me. When the school year comes the weekends will not be like this.
The new territory I found was on BelleIsle Marsh Reservation. I ran on the East Boston and Winthrop border. My exploration lead to uneven ground, birds, boats, and different kinds of wild life and views. . I was able to have a true running momma moment.
