Sandcastle of Labor

Sandcastle of Labor

Labor day and people are working?! How does that work.

I love it. Labor Day = quiet beach run, 61 degrees, peaceful, free music weekend,  smells of cigarettes,  weed, and cool ocean breezes in the air.

The people working were the folks changing the trash cans along the beach and the folks cleaning/turning the sand.  While running I was looking at the smooth sand and I saw a mound that was untouched. Curiosity made me run over to it and I saw this labor intensive lovely sandcastle that someone built.

Labor Day surprise. I don't know how long it was there but no one touched it. I continued my 10k run and when I ran passed it again, it was destroyed. Really?!

If you build it, it will be destroyed so you start anew and build a better foundation. I thought about that as I start school tomorrow and I have to rebuilt something that was destroyed. My foundation will be a lot better than the one that was build before.

Always laboring, appreciate the workers
