Wednesday Urban am Run

Humpday 50 degrees fun run.  It truly is time for the gloves. My goal this morning was to run 6 miles but I ran 5. Running distraction led to the reduction in miles this morning. LOL.

The first 3 miles it was me and the urban skunks hanging out. Which I am also fascinated by and I want to get close and follow them but I know better. Yet I still want to do it. I saw two this morning.

Besides the skunks all the morning trucks were out in full force this am. Beverage trucks, Supply trucks, Gas trucks. It was trucks-a-loplooza. It's not that they were moving, which I see often. A bunch of them were just there. Stopped and there. That was different

As I was running I noticed benches that had the word " NICE" on them. That was my morning chuckle before I ran under the construction of the sidewalk. Urban running can be such an interesting and surprising obstacle course.  

When I go to state #19 and run along side the hills of Virginia it won't be the urban that I'm use to.
