Hokie Countdown

I didn't run today. It was my 5:15am Cal-Zone Bodyshred crew workout. Today we really worked it out. Ohhh.

Since I would not see my lovely ladies next Monday, I brought the hokie bird to class to workout with us. :)

This will kick off the October races and a milestone will soon be completed. The last of the "teen" numbers and the last( well I only went to two) of my Alma Maters.

Each race has been unique and special and created their own special memory with me. Racing at Ohio University and next Sunday Virginia Tech, touch home. These are the races, the places that have the most meaning for me. The memories, the love, the tears, the drinks, the laughter, the heartbreak, the knowledge, the bonds, the friendship, the drama, the football games, the moment when the blinders came off and I started to become an adult, a scholar, a change agent.

Now I am about to run in this space.
