COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”

I’m tired. I need to run 3 or 4 miles this morning. But I’m tired. Alarm was set for 5:10, then 5:30, then 5:45am. Last night the Iowan and I went out to dinner with friends. Nothing too crazy. We ate at 6:30pm and I had only 1 class of red wine. I went to bed at 10pm. I’m tired.

I need to up my run mileage since I was gone last week to Baltimore. Horn Pond was my running place. It was a cool 78 degrees of muggy. To my delight. I felt strong, I felt good. I felt my belly was a bit smaller.

Strength training and working on my eating in paying off. I haven’t gotten on a scale. But my running endurance was good for 3 miles. This is the slow build up to run 26.2 miles. It was a good running morning with the stalkers. I had energy in my tank and I didn’t feel tired while running. That’s the key. I need to remember this feeling.
