COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
I made it back to Boston by 1:15a.m. this morning. By the time I picked up my luggage and walked home it was almost 2 a.m. Before I left the cool of 66 degrees in Iowa, I saw that Boston was under a heat dome and the temps would be in the high 90s and low 100s.- joyous. Arriving early this morning the temp was 77 degrees. At 1:30a.m.!
All that to say, my crazy ass was up by 6 a.m. this morning to go running. 4 hours of sleep?! I wasn’t sure how the weather would be this morning running. Luckily for me there was a nice breeze along the waterfront area.
I was tired and not fully hydrated. I ended up running/walking two miles. I think it was two miles because I didn’t have my garmin on me. I know the mileage of the route that I ran.
I’m slowly getting back into things. Especially after weighing myself from being gone for 6 days. 158.6 is not cute. We need that number down to 150. My body feels heavier and now I know, yes, it is. Lots of summer work to do.
I was up and moved this body. Still winning
