COVID-19, “ The Rona Era
The first official Fall run of 2022 happened today. 4.69 morning miles. It was 54 degrees out and the wind was crisp. I wasn’t sure about what to wear. I think it’s too early for tights. I did wear shorts, short sleeves, and a light jacket and that all worked. And I had the headlight on because it’s still dark outside.
I wasn’t sure how I would feel running because I got my booster yesterday and I’m still on my period. These things are real.
I ran, a bit slower than my normal. But I ran. It is always great to wake up and run into the sun. I wanted to take it easy on my body and gauge where I am. I did get tired along the way. I stopped and walked a bit and then ran.
I was running alone for the most part. Around 6:50/7a.m. I saw a group of runners run by me. I think they might be apart of some class. It was a mixture of men and women of different ages and running strides. I did see one black man in that group, that gave me the nod. I might need to find out who they are.
Otherwise, it was a good festive , fun, first Friday fall run
