Friday Beach vibes
COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”
Hello Friday! And Hello to the start of week 6 post surgery recovery walking. I know that is such a mouth full. Today officially starts my last week of recovery. I can’t believe 6 weeks ago I was under the knife and got these implants put in for the final Tyrone renovation. Since this is still class prep week. I decided to walk along Lynn Shore Reservation and then head up to my campus office to get work done. I can be a bit gross because there is no one on campus since I would not be able to go home after my walk.
Sunrise is at 6:05a.m. and summer is officially over on September 22nd. I still have time to enjoy the summer vibes.
This was a refreshing change. Lynn Shore goes through the two towns of Lynn and Swampscott. Both different along racial, age, and social class lines. That is reflected in the diversity of people who are running, walking, and sitting along the shore.
And the shoreline is different than revere beach or castle island- beaches that I run frequently.
The tide was low and the stalkers( birds) were so loud. This morning was a mixture of beauty and humidity.
3.65 miles in all of the sand and glory this morning. :)
