Week 4 post Recovery: Moon, art, nature, and miles
COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”
Today starts week 4 of post surgery recovery. My goal is to try to walk 4 miles everyday this week. I’m going to add yoga and stretching to the mix this week. When I start running, I don’t want my body to be in total shock. My 4 mile walk happened on the Tri- Community Greenway. It feels like another fall morning. I actually wore a jacket while walking because it was cool out. Later I took that bad boy off and wrapped it around my waste.
It’s been a while since I’ve walked/ ran on the greenway. I loved going through the graffiti tunnel because there is always new graffiti art to see. There were not a lot of people out on this sunny, cool, and lovely Sunday morning. I did see a bit of the moon this morning too. There have been a couple of times when I’ve been out running and I’ve seen both the sun and the moon. It usually happens in the fall. I assume it’s coming.
My pace is picking up, which is good. I was close to a leisure 19 min mile pace to now around 16min mile pace. I can tell when I’m doing a leisure walk verse, a power walk. Now I’m at a phrase were I can start power walking.
Nice morning for a walk on the greenway.
