Strange sightings for Thursday

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

Today my goal is to walk further than yesterday. I know I am still in recovery and I need to take it easy. This week, I’ve kept my goal to walk at least 2 miles . I’m not walking for speed, I just walking to move.

This morning I may have pushed it a bit but not on purpose. This morning started off walking along the Harbor walk. I saw the channel 5 news truck by Lopresti park. I saw the local meteorologist doing her live weather segment along the harbor walk, which was exciting. Then it gets better. I saw Ginger Zee from ABC news doing national weather forecast along the East Boston Harbor walk too. Of course, I had to be a fan stalker and take pictures and get a video without looking like I was doing it. I’m so not sneaky.

After my pictures and video, I kept walking through my neighborhood. It was close to 7a.m. and the city was getting busy with people walking to the T or going to walk. I try to start walking at 6a.m. and finish by 7 if not before.

Also along the harbor, I saw an art piece that looked liked a spacecraft. It seemed so out of place but also in a perfect place. That was another interesting morning surprise.

I saw a guy walking the street barefooted. He had his shoes in his hands while he walked. Shoe malfunction maybe? I was curious about his story but I wasn’t going to ask. When I reached my front door I had walked 2.80 miles. Beyond my 2 mile morning goal. I might need to pay attention more to the distance I walk. Overall it was a good morning and a cool morning before the heatwave started.
